This animation shows a straightedge and compass method of drawing the Tree of Life model that also comes closest to solving the problem of dividing a line into thirds and a circle into sevenths. This method can also be used to easily derive a third, a fifth, and a sixth of a circle, as well as a way to create a measuring rod with ten or twelve equal divisions using only a straight edge and compass. See how many different geometric shapes or line divisions you can derive by using only a straightedge and compass.
