By overlaying the geometry of the Vitruvian Man onto the geometry of the Tree of Life more bodily proportions can be seen with this added information. Unlike some of the older placements of the human form only into the portion of a Tree of Life below the upper triad, in this model the human form embodies the full height of the Tree of Life. The relationships between the human body and the Tree of Life parts are further illuminated by the Vitruvian Man design.
The placements of the Crown on the human head, the heart in the sphere of Knowledge, and the sexual organs in the sphere of Beauty are correlations that have been made among many different cultures throughout world history. In a similar vein, think of how the term cutting someone off at the knees is used to refer to cutting something off at its’ Foundation. This interpretation may not conform to some other commentators with their more convoluted and complex explanations of the how the Tree of Life relates to the human body, but that doesn’t mean that this observation is necessarily any less valid.
When you start to look at the Tree of Life from a different perspective it starts to blossom with new notions and productive possibilities. And when these new insights get pollinated by other outside validations of its’ truths, like from scientific observations, it begins to bare new fruit; fruit that it may never have produced if you hadn’t dared to look at the Tree of Life from through a new set of lenses or from a whole different perspective. If this new perspective helps you to open up your doors of perception or to expand on your understanding of the Tree of Life a little bit more, then it was worth your consideration. The possibility that this perspective could actually be as valid as someone else’s, as insightful as theirs may very well be, should at least warrant some of your contemplation and a little consideration of the hidden concepts that this point of view may unveil to you, or what new ideas that it could inspire in you.
