Color Codes of this Tree of Life
The colors used to illustrate the sephirah in this Tree of Life configuration are based on the three primary colors of light (Red, Green & Blue), as opposed to the three primary colors of pigment (Cyan, Yellow & Magenta). The five basic color pairs of the light spectrum, which when combined create white light, correspond to the ten sephirah to demonstrate the different polarities within the Tree of Life. The polarity of black and white (no colors and all colors) is used for the non-planetary sphere of knowledge (Da’ath) in order to reflect the polarity of the Moon as it cycles from the dark black of the new moon to the bright white of the full moon.
The color progression is from the darkest color violet on the bottom to the brightest greenish yellow on the top. The lower kelvin temperature colors, which are referred to as the ‘warm colors’ reside on the left side of the tree of life, whereas the higher kelvin temperature colors, referred to as ‘cool colors’, reside on the right side of this Tree of Life. However, the colors in the picture above are flashing between their polar opposite spheres to demonstrate light in motion. This is to better represent how life and light are in a constant flux as they spin and swirl through the space/time of the universe.
The colors used to represent the paths in this image is a simple attempt to illuminate the spectral interaction that is always flowing between the spheres but do not accurately demonstrate the actual colors of the paths.
