Excerpts from by Ari
And when upon His simple will, came the
desire to create the world and emanate the emanations, The Sun is the not a planet yet without it the planets wouldn't exist, however, a Sun can exist without the planets, it's the source of their existence, but the sun needs not a planet to exist. Hence we call it the Solar System, for the planets revolve around it. Similarly, Zero is not a quantity number yet it determines all the quantities by reference to its position; it's their reference point, their qualifier, and thereby the source of their relative quantitative value. The Earth is our relative center in regards to our perspective of the universe; and the Moon, its' satellite, is subject to this planets motion around the Sun, the Moon primarily only influences the Earths' condition and nourishes its' tides, weather, and overall growth of life. Similarly, Knowledge influences the conditions with which we live in and nourishes our emotional, physical, mental and spiritual growth, or any other interests or stances we may take in life. Now imagine the Moon in motion, only revolving around Tiphareth ( in this model representing the Earth); it would become full in Yesod (in this model the sphere of Saturn). In turn, the New Moon and Solar eclipse, while the Moon is in Da'ath, representing its place of conception. This could also be said about the old approach with Malkuth as Earth, Yesod as Moon, and Tiphareth as the Sun. The progression is the same from the upward perspective of the Earth. The major differences are in the point of view: In this model the view of the feminine is raised from the former, under the foot position, to the centerpiece of our attention from our relative point of view, the female is the dominate representation of Beauty. We now know that the Sun's domain extends even deeper into space then we ever knew before. As a result of our present knowledge of the solar system, three outer planets and asteroids in particular, are also now known to the common person. I can't help but wonder if the ancients were aware of these others dynamics of the solar system. They did recognize that the observations of factors in the world within which they lived, the Microcosm, would have corresponding factors in the world without, the Macrocosm. They also very much understood that there was more to life than meets the eye. The tradition wasn't just about preserving what was known, but more importantly, it was a living tradition of research and discovery; a tradition of a continual conversation of what we know of Life. One of the major considerations being made here is the manner with which the Moon and the outer planets can be recreated, with regards to modern knowledge and organizational techniques, into a New Universal Tree of Life. Previous attempts simply placed the outer planets in three supernal Sephiroth of the Tree of Life, which were heretofore unassociated with any planets. This solution however failed to consider the repercussions these new discoveries have had on our collective consciousness; as well as, the reassessments that our collective understanding of the solar system had made over the past two hundred years. Along with the discovery of the outer planets came a resurgence of old artifacts being dug up from the past and we are simultaneously learning how to break away from old family and cultural patterns that we have been unconsciously perpetuating for generations. In this Tree of Life, Pluto is associated with the eighth number, and position, not the ninth; I've done this because Pluto passes within the orbit of Neptune and is a subset of Neptune's realm of influence. The puzzle of Pluto's eccentric orbit has been solved, but it's classification is still debated: Is it a planet or a planetoid? Either way it is still a dynamic object, which has a observable effect in our solar system; and whose data can be analyzed and utilized, Astronomically and Astrologically. It can easily be argued that since the Sun is the innermost body of the solar system then it should, respectively, be placed in the middle of the Tree of Life. However, this Tree of Life system's approach is taking a geocentric perspective of life and is not meant to represent the solar centric perspective (basically, we don't live on the Sun). From our relative point of view here on Earth we are in the middle of all existence; the Sun is above us, with Mercury and Venus by it's side in the morning and evening light. The most fundamental direction in which life grows is up towards the Sun. In turn everything that dies releases its carbon substance back down into the ground (Yesod as our carbon based foundation) and its liquid even further down into the water table or sea below the earth where humans live (Malkuth as our water based kingdom of life). There is also an interesting note from western mythology, in which the old gods, Neptune and Pluto, ruled the depths of the ocean and the dark caverns of the underworld, both signifying forces from below. Their influences had been observed over time and the patterns of their behavior could be observed within nature and Man even if they could not be seen in the sky. And most importantly, the same patterns could be observed, as can still be observed today in the Indian/Arabic number system based on the Ten Ideal Numbers 0-9. The material nature of the planets are represented by the quantitative numbers, one thru nine, and the life force of the Sun is represented by the qualitative, source number Zero. Return to the source of enlightenment and overcome the temptations of the materialistic Beast, a.k.a. 666 ( F-6 O-6 X-6 ). Ten, 10, is the return to the zero state and is a summation of the first complete set of ideal numbers, set 1, plus the beginning of the second set, 0. The ten completes the numeric progression from beginning to beginning, zero to zero, and quantifies the whole waveform as one complete set. This is why ten is the easiest number to tally by in this general system of numeric notation. Life on Earth, the third planet from the Sun, is perceived by humans in Three spatial dimensions, within the temporal reference of this particular Solar/Lunar Time System. The eleven dimensions of considerations can be broken down into ten spatial considerations and one time consideration: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. The observable world from our perspective only consists of four of these dimensions: Time as represented by Zero (being the number of the Now) and the three dimensions of solids, Height, Width, Depth as represented by One, Two and Three respectively.
